Alert! Pine Tree Landfill resubmits their "public benefit" application. On January 5th, hundreds attended DEP's meeting in Hampden to voice their opposition to a public benefit determination for the Pine Tree Landfill. DEP will accept comments until Jan 10th If you didn't pass your comments in at the meeting, please do so now. January 23, 2006. Hampden Town will hold a special landfill meeting at the Hampden Town Council.7:00 pm. Purpose: review recent events at the landfill involving methane concentration.
