Captain Robert Iserbyt of Friends of Penobscot Bay towed an undersea video camera alongside his vessel Harvest Moon in a survey of bayfloor conditions in Rockport Harbor. The video reveals the widespread presence of a pale white biofouling organism covering much of the colander kelp and the supporting ledges. Here are representative still pictures taken from the 45 miknute video, filmed October 19, 2012.
