Fishing Grounds of the Gulf of Maine

Newfound Ground. A small rocky spot about 1/4 mile across with an automatic buoy in the center for guidance into the Bay of Fundy. This is a small-boat ground having depths averaging 18 fathoms. It lies about 3 miles S. by W. from Moosabec Light.

Species and seasons are as on Lukes Rock. Fishing is by trawl and hand line.
