Energy Ocean 2009 This four day event at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine showcased the latest innovators in ocean energy extraction: wind, wave, tidal, Gulf Stream, thermal, solar and hybrids. State and federal regulators too, showcased their proposed and approved new rules and regulations for this seeming gold rush of proposals to tap the ocean's power for electricity.
