1990s SEARS ISLAND PORT STRUGGLE
Ron Huber's 1990s Sears island campaign diaries (93-95)

These are unedited. There are many gaps. Irrelevant topics. The writing quality is uneven, Huber's opinions possibly upsetting to some Sears Island veterans; his thinking questionable. But so it went, to the best of his recollections....
In the 1990's conservationists and four federal agencies ultimately frustrated an effort by the state of Maine and port supporters to build a cargo port on Sears Island.
