Meeting typically occur on the first Friday of the month at 7:30 AM, but other times are negotiable. The Schoodic Area Futures is a 501(c)3 non-profit forum that meets monthly in Gouldsboro for discussions and presentations of community issues. While this morning’s meeting was planned some time ago and featured Barbara Hunt-Welch’s presentation on Frenchman Bay Conservancy activities, the recent announcement of possible LNG facility being sited in Gouldsboro was a major point of discussion. Please feel free to suggest other speakers who can also help the community to understand the issues. Thanks James H. I cannot answer questions related to fisheries, safety/security, economic development, or other topics you might have questions regarding. A group of us from the State went to Pleasant Point to answer the general range of questions. Let me know if this is something you want to pursue.
