Victory for Great Eastern Mussel Farms, as US Commerce Department agrees to impose anti-dumping penalties against two Canadian shellfish companies.

Prince Edward Aqua Farms Inc. was assessed a 3.5 percent dumping margin and PEI-based Confederation Cove received a 4.7 percent dumping margin, according to a statement given to the media by Great Eastern sales manager Terry Callery. Two other Canadian firms were not assessed penalties.
