Fishing Grounds of the Gulf of Maine

Little Hill Ground. -This lies SE. from Long Hill Ground 3 miles and SW. from Trinidad 3 miles. Depths are from 30 fathoms over the rocks to 40 and even 60 fathoms over the broken ground.

This is a summer ground for cod and hake. Haddock are present in the fall and winter months, and cusk are here the year around.
