Bureau of Parks and Lands submits its record in Huber v. BPL wind test area lawsuit.
The official record submitted to Maine Superior Court on May 13, 2010 by Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands' decision, to justify their decision to designate two square miles of state waters south of Monhegan as a University of Maine deepwater ocean energy test site, while rejecting three alternaitve sites off Isle au Haut, Machias and Cutler. These "records" will be used by Judge Jeffrey Hjelm to decide if the Bureau of Parks and Lands' decision was lawful or not.

The lawsuit Huber v. Maine Bureau of Parks and Land presently before Maine Superior Court seeks to overturn the BPL's December 14, 2009 decision to site UMaine deepwater wind test site off Monhegan Island.
