Bureau of Parks and Lands Certified Record in Huber v. BPL wind test area lawsuit.
The official record submitted to Maine Superior Court on May 13, 2010 as required in the lawsuit Huber v. Maine Bureau of Parks and Land. The case challenges the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands' January 14, 2010 decision to designate two square miles of state waters south of Monhegan as a University of Maine deepwater ocean energy test site, while rejecting three alternaitve sites off Isle au Haut, Machias and Cutler. These "records" will be used by Judge Jeffrey Hjelm to decide if the Bureau of Parks and Lands' decision was lawful or not.
