World-famed views of this enchanting island off the coast of Maine are threatened with change. The University of Maine proposes to build three windtowers two miles offshore Monhegan. Day & night, the windtowers would doninate the scenes shown in these February 16, 2010 photos with their lights, whirling blades and sounds.
